- Changes to VAT Rates: The Act introduces various VAT adjustments, including a 0% rate for rescue ships and lifeboats, an 8% rate for certain medical devices, a clarification on reduced rates for fertilizers and plant protection products, and a reduction of the VAT rate on menstrual cups from 23% to 5%.
- Suspension of Excise Duty and Other Provisions: The new regulations include an 18-month suspension of excise duty collection on passenger cars registered for test drives and a refund mechanism for temporarily registered cars for export. Additionally, the requirement to integrate online cash registers with payment terminals has been abolished, although transaction reporting remains mandatory.
