- The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has extended its Cancellation of Fines and Penalties initiative until June 30, 2025, allowing taxpayers more time to benefit from exemptions.
- To qualify for the exemption, taxpayers must register under relevant tax laws, submit any previously unfiled returns, and pay all principal tax debts associated with those returns.
- Taxpayers can request installment payment plans and are encouraged to refer to the guidelines available on the ZATCA website for detailed information on the initiative.
