- The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) announced on November 29, 2024, that all taxpayers in the eighteenth wave of Phase 2 of the e-invoicing mandate must issue e-invoices and integrate with the FATOORA platform.
- This obligation applies to taxpayers with annual revenues exceeding SAR 2 million (approximately EUR 504,000) in 2022 or 2023, with a deadline for integration set for August 31, 2025.
- Affected taxpayers will receive notifications from ZATCA to ensure they comply with the new requirements in a timely manner.
