The National Fiscal Administration Agency (ANAF) has introduced 11 new consistency tests for taxpayers to ensure accurate and complete SAF-T (D406) declarations submitted via XML. These complement the previously published 22 tests, aiming to help taxpayers submit correct declarations and avoid potential penalties under Article 337^1 of Law No. 207/2015. Taxpayers can apply the recommended tests or use their own methods to validate their declarations. If errors are found, taxpayers are encouraged to correct them. ANAF will notify taxpayers of any inaccuracies, and if issues persist, sanctions will be applied gradually as per the law.
