Business controllers need to review their master data records and billing systems and plan to close potential gaps to comply with the new EU regulations with the Digital Age VAT (ViDA) reforms. The European Commission is changing the value-added tax (VAT) system and will require companies to digitize their supplier and customer invoices to comply with tax rules, according to Renata Viana, director analyst in the Gartner Finance practice.
