The Tennessee Department of Revenue issued a notice reflecting legislation enacted in 2023 and scheduled to become effective on July 1, 2024 that, among other sales and use tax law changes, adopts a majority of the sourcing provisions consistent with the Streamlined Sales and Use Tax Agreement, including various forms of destination-based sourcing for specified services and lease transactions.
