The Danish government is consulting on new green tax reforms, which include a new CO2 tax to help reach the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 70% by 2030. The proposed legislation includes different tax rates for companies based on their coverage by the EU Emissions Trading System, and also extends the CO2 tax to ferries, fishermen, and domestic aviation.
