The IRB has released a beta version of the e-Invoicing Software Development Kit (SDK) and updated guidelines for the e-Invoicing system in Malaysia. The SDK provides tools, libraries, and resources to help businesses integrate their existing systems into the MyInvois System via API. The mandatory electronic invoicing will gradually affect B2B transactions starting in 2024, with a pilot project in May 2024 and full implementation for taxpayers with an annual turnover exceeding 100 million MYR in August 2024. B2G transactions will be impacted from 2026, and B2C transactions in 2027. EDICOM offers assistance in adapting to the electronic invoicing requirements in Malaysia.
