- SINIEF Adjustment No. 49 modifies Clause 3 of SINIEF Adjustment No. 7, stating that ICMS taxpayers must use the NFCom starting from April 1, 2025.
- Electronic invoicing is becoming the norm globally, with more tax administrations adopting it to combat tax evasion.
- Brazil is also embracing innovation with the new Electronic Communication Services Invoice – NFCom, model 62, to simplify the process of issuing invoices for Communication and Telecommunications services.
- The NFCom will have attributes similar to the NF-e, and companies in the Communication and Telecommunications sectors will benefit from this technological leap.
- The NFCom is scheduled to come into effect nationwide on April 1, 2025, with testing and production starting in 2023.
