Japan has imposed a ban on the import of Russian diamonds from January 1, 2024. In addition, the Ministry of Economy has introduced a new package of sanctions against 57 companies from Russia, 27 from Belarus. These measures will come into force on December 22, 2023.
Since August 9, the Asian country has banned the import into Russia of cars with an engine volume of more than 1.9 liters, as well as hybrid and electric vehicles. New and used cars are subject to restrictions.
