Poland is introducing a new e-invoice requirement from July 2024, which includes the addition of QR codes to invoices. The second draft of the regulations clarifies the implementation of QR codes, as well as mechanisms for VAT_RR and correction. Farmers selling agricultural products should be aware of these changes. The QR code must be included on invoices created outside the KSeF portal to ensure usability at both local and international levels. The QR code must comply with the ISO/IEC 18004:2015 standard. The public consultation process is ongoing until December 18, allowing taxpayers and sector representatives to submit their suggestions and opinions. More technical information will be announced soon.
