The Government Legislation Centre has published a draft regulation by the Minister of Finance regarding amendments to the detailed scope of data contained in tax returns and records in the field of value added tax (SAF-T). However, the changes are not significant as the mandatory KSeF will not replace the obligation to send the SAF-T file to the tax office. The new information that will appear in SAF-T includes the invoice identification number in the KSeF. The regulation will also be adapted to changes in VAT refund deadlines, shortening the basic return period from 60 days to 40 days and removing the additional 40-day return period. The draft also includes minor adaptations.
