The DAC 8 Directive (Directive 2023/2226) amending the rules on administrative cooperation in the field of taxation has been published in the Official Journal of the European Union. The amendments mainly concern the reporting and automatic exchange of information on the proceeds of crypto-asset transactions and information on advance tax rulings for the wealthiest (high net-worth) individuals.
