The upper house of the German Federal Parliament (Bundesrat) recently weighed in on the Growth Opportunities Act, which includes provisions related to mandatory e-invoicing, during its session on October 20.
According to the current plan, all taxpayers will be required to accept e-invoices starting from January 1, 2025, and the mandatory issuance of e-invoices will begin on January 1, 2026, for large taxpayers.
