The government intends to remove the amounts collected as excise taxes from the turnover (CA) and to increase the VAT from 5% to 9% for concerts and shows, but also to adopt a series of changes to the project with fiscal and restructuring measures regarding local authorities, government sources told Profit.ro. The Government has also abandoned its intention to allow meal vouchers to be awarded in cash, but will come up with an ordinance that will limit the commissions charged by ticket issuers.
