- The reduced rate of VAT for catering services in Lithuania, which was introduced to support the economy during the COVID-19 pandemic, has been extended permanently through legislation.
- However, the reduced rate of VAT for attendance at artistic, cultural, and sports events and other performances will not be extended.
- The proposed bill would extend the reduced rate of VAT indefinitely from January 1, 2024.
- Until the end of this year, VAT rates will remain unchanged.
