- The timeline for the implementation of e-invoicing in Slovakia has changed once again.
- The project will now be carried out in four phases throughout 2023. All state agencies and their suppliers will gradually be required to exchange e-invoices.
- Currently, only invoices between government and businesses are subject to e-invoicing requirements.
- The Ministry of Finance and Datacentrum, along with their suppliers, will be the first to comply in Q3 2023, followed by budget organizations in Q4 2023, other government entities in Q1 2024, and finally, entrepreneurs engaging in transactions with government institutions.
- These dates may change, and Pagero is committed to providing timely updates on developments in Slovakia.
