From February 1, 2022, a reduction to 0 percent applies in Poland. the VAT rate on food, which was previously covered by 5% tax rate.The reduced VAT rate on food is valid until the end of 2023.Maintaining the zero VAT rate on food in the first six months of 2023 means about PLN 6 billion more in citizens’ wallets.In the fight against inflation and the crisis caused by Russia, the most important thing is to protect Poles’ wallets.
