More than two years after Brexit, the European Commission and the United Kingdom have taken steps to make practical adjustments to the trade agreement they concluded on the movement of goods between the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. On February 27, 2023, it was announced that the European Commission and the UK government had reached an agreement on comprehensive solutions to address the challenges of trading goods with Northern Ireland, which is part of the UK.
