The Delhi High Court ( HC ) held that tax dues under the Sabka Vishwas (Legacy Dispute Resolution) Scheme, 2019 ( SVLDRS ) cannot exceed the amount confirmed by the commissioner of the central excise department. Mukesh Jain, the Petitioner filed the present petition aggrieved by the amount of tax determined as payable by the Designated Committee under the Sabka Vishwas (Legacy Dispute Resolution) Scheme, 2019.
