VAT on basic hygiene products for women, such as sanitary napkins or tampons, in Poland is 5 percent, while for menstrual cups as much as 23 percent. The Commissioner for Human Rights (CHR) Marcin Wiącek turned to the Minister of Finance Magdalena Rzeczkowska in this matter.
