Croatia has recently passed Law No. 2338, which revises the automatic exchange of information (AEOI) regulations to match EU Directive 2021/514 (DAC7).
The AEOI is a system of administrative cooperation that allows countries to exchange tax-related information automatically. The purpose of this system is to help countries combat tax evasion and improve tax compliance.
