The EU Commission’s technical advisory group, EFRAG, tasked with developing draft EU sustainability reporting standards (ESRS), intends to set up an ESRS Digital Reporting Consultative Forum. Among other things, it is to develop an XBRL taxonomy with which all information subject to disclosure can be mapped in an XBRL format. The forum is scheduled to start work at the end of February/beginning of March 2023.
