Mexico’s Tax Administration Service (SAT) has delayed the implementation of the new e-invoice system CFDI 4.0 once again. As we previously published, the delay initially impacted only ‘payroll’ invoices (CFDI 4.0 de nomina). However, according to the recent announcement by the Mexican Government, the extended deadline will apply uniformly to every invoice type. The new e-invoice format will be mandatory from April 1, 2023 – not January 1, 2023, as originally planned.
