The bill proposes to reduce to 0% the VAT rate for goods for children produced and sold in Russia. We are talking about such goods as knitwear and garments, shoes, children’s furniture, strollers, bicycles and other transport products, stationery, periodicals and books, games and toys, diapers, sanitary and hygienic and cosmetic products, children’s and diabetic nutrition. Recall that at present the above goods are taxed at a rate of 10% ( clause 2, article 164 of the Tax Code ).
