This circular deals with the introduction of the VAT rate of 6% on bras and swimsuits adapted to external breast prostheses on prescription by a doctor, when they are intended to alleviate the consequences of a chronic or long-term illness or of a disability. This has been inserted by Article 73 of the Law of 05.07.2022 containing various tax provisions (Belgian Official Gazette of 15.07.2022).
