From October 1, 2022, after meeting the formal requirements, Ukraine became a party to the Convention on a common transit procedure (WPT Convention) and the Convention on simplifying formalities in trade in goods (SAD Convention).
The signing of both Conventions by Ukraine is another step towards the unification and simplification of customs regulations in international trade in goods. Thus, Ukraine has joined the countries that can benefit from the simplifications contained in the common transit procedure (European Union countries, Turkey, Serbia, North Macedonia, Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom).
