In light of the recent customs reforms undertaken by European institutions, the American Chamber of Commerce to the EU co-signed a letter alongside European trade associations in order to signal our support and provide suggestions. Above all, future proposals should result from an open and constructive dialogue among all stakeholders – including the Trade Contact Group – to set realistic timelines and customs procedures.
