Spain currently implements a VAT data reporting system called SII. B2B e-Invoicing has been introduced in Spain with the new law (Crea y Crece). All Spanish VAT payer companies will be required to issue and receive e-Invoices. The mandatory process will begin in July 2024 for large taxpayers with a turnover of more than €8 million. With the mandatory electronic invoicing implementation, a larger group of taxpayers will need to provide transaction data more frequently.
