The UAE Cabinet has published a decision allowing mosques to recover input VAT on the construction.
After refunds to charities, government entities, and emirati nationals building their own homes, tourist refunds and business visitor refunds, this is another refund implemented by the UAE, which will constitute financial help to mosques.
The new rules enter into force 60 days from 30 August.
