Guatemala’s Superintendency of Tax Administration (SAT) held a press conference on 6 July 2022 to announce a change to electronic form SAT 2237, the monthly VAT return and payment form. More specifically, the obligation for taxpayers to report certain details on their 10 main local suppliers in an annex to form SAT 2237 is eliminated for the monthly VAT returns for June 2022 and subsequent months.
