Views were sought on VAT reporting obligations and e-invoicing, the VAT treatment of the platform economy, and the use of a single EU VAT registration. Submissions included a number of concerns with the current state of the issues identified, with some positive comments regarding progress on VAT registration requirements, particularly in relation to minimizing the number of multiple VAT registrations and simplifying compliance.
