Draft bill regulates the reduction of the VAT on energy from 21% to 9% as of 1 July 2022, a reduction of the excise duty on petrol, diesel and LPG by 21% per 1 April 2022 and an elaboration of the measures to dampen the effect of rising energy prices for the Caribbean part of the Netherlands.
