Belgium’s Federal Public Service (SPF) Finance issued a release on 28 February 2022 confirming the VAT rate cut on electricity as announced earlier by the Prime Minister. The VAT rate on electricity (residential customers) is cut from 21% to 6% from 1 March 2022 until 30 June 2022, inclusive.
