Carbon pricing is introduced from 1 July 2022, with a national emissions certificate trading system. This starts with an initial fixed price phase that includes pricing per metric ton at EUR 30 for 2022, EUR 35 for 2023, EUR 45 for 2024, and EUR 55 for 2025. From 1 January 2026, a market pricing phase will be implemented.
