New VAT regulations set a reduced rate of 5% on electronic publications

On December 4, 2021, the Latvian Government has set new regulations amending the VAT Law which will enter into force on January 1, 2022. The amendment includes a reduced rate of 5% on the supply of printed matters or electronic publications of books.
