FLOODS OF JULY 2021: SUPPORT MEASURES FOR THE COLLECTION AND RECOVERY OF FISCAL AND NON-TAX DEBTS
Due to the severe weather that hit our country, many people are currently faced with unexpected, significant expenses. We understand that citizens and businesses that have been victims of these floods may experience difficulties in paying their debts.
Already know that you can ask us for an installment plan as soon as you receive your payment invitation. When you request a payment plan over 4 months, you do not have to complete any formalities. If 4 monthly payments would not be sufficient and you request a payment plan over a longer period, we will make our decision after analyzing your specific situation. Via MyMinfin(link is external) you can request a payment plan safely and easily.
In addition, in the event that it is impossible to pay, we will also pay special attention to the persons concerned before initiating recovery measures.
We are currently working with the Walloon and Flemish Regions to further analyze the data resulting from this situation. Depending on the results, further measures can be taken. We will of course keep you informed if this is the case.
