VAT imports, the right to deduct the tax paid on goods from the United Kingdom is not affected by the time of transfer of ownership, in the case of consignment stock contract. This is clarified by the Revenue Agency in its response to question number 509 of 26 July 2021: there must be a direct and immediate link between import and business activity.
