The Senate proposes to postpone changes to VAT until September 2021
Works related to the introduction of the so-called e-commerce VAT package to the Polish VAT Act. On Friday, the Senate adopted an amendment that is to postpone the entry into force of the new regulations until September 1, 2021. Therefore, the bill will be sent to the Sejm again, which may accept or reject the amendment this week. Postponing the date of entry into force from 1 July 2021 to another date may cause chaos in e-commerce in the EU, as EU regulations require all countries to adopt the changes on 1 July.
