The Senate voted on Friday (June 18, 2021) in favor of delaying the entry into force of the e-commerce package by three months. According to one of the amendments adopted by senators, the amendment to the VAT law will enter into force on September 1, and not on July 1, as the government wanted. The changes will affect the e-commerce and import sector, the so-called small parcels from outside the European Union.
