The Portuguese Tax Office has issued Circular letter no. 30234, with further updates regarding the submission and payment of VAT returns: June and the 2nd Quarter VAT returns can be submitted and VAT paid until 31.08.2021. Please notice that in this particular case the deadlines are not transferred to the next business day if they fall on a weekend or holiday.
