The government is working on a major VAT reform (the so-called e-Commerce package). The changes will particularly affect taxpayers selling goods or providing services via the Internet. New obligations will also apply to online sales platforms, auction portals or even social networking sites where sales take place – so it may turn out that, for example, Allegro will settle VAT for sellers using the website’s services.
