To support the hospitality sector in the fight against the Corona crisis, a temporary VAT reduction from 12% VAT to 6% VAT for restaurant and catering services has been in force since the beginning of June 2020, which will in principle expire at the end of 2020. In June 2020, a circular was published that provides more information about this and in particular about prepacked products.
