- The Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) has announced that, for the year 2026, the statistical thresholds for submitting an Intrastat declaration are set at €250,000 for intra-EU imports (arrivals) and €90,000 for intra-EU exports (shipments) as per Regulation (EU) 2019/2152.
- Traders must submit an Intrastat declaration if, in the previous year (2025), their total intra-EU import or export transactions exceeded the corresponding thresholds for 2026, or if during the current year (2026), their total intra-EU trade exceeds these thresholds.
- Declarations must be submitted in the month when the total value of imports or exports surpasses the threshold, and this reporting continues monthly until the end of 2026; B2C distance sales to private consumers are included in the calculation of total intra-EU exports.
