- A new 15% Digital Services Withholding Tax has been introduced in lieu of VAT on imported services, applicable to payments for offshore digital services, with withholding managed by paying agents.
- The procurement requirements for goods have been revised, exempting operators dealing exclusively in VAT-exempt supplies from needing to prove VAT registration, while maintaining a 5% withholding tax for non-compliance.
