Initial indicators of the implementation of the Fiscalization Act – more than 1.6 million eInvoices issued
- E-Invoicing Implementation Statistics: As of January 13, 2026, over 1.6 million e-invoices have been issued, with 299,240 taxpayers involved in issuing and receiving e-invoices. The system has identified 33 information intermediaries, and 10 taxpayers have developed their own solutions for e-invoice exchange.
- Challenges for Taxpayers: Issues have arisen as some taxpayers have not confirmed their access points or customized their software solutions adequately. Additionally, there is confusion regarding the compliance with technical requirements for e-invoices, leading to failures in creating valid fiscalization messages, which are necessary for reporting to tax authorities.
- Support and Compliance Measures: The Tax Administration is committed to a partnership approach, emphasizing cooperation during the implementation phase to avoid penalties for minor errors. They are also providing extensive resources and clarifications regarding e-invoice regulations to ensure taxpayers are informed and compliant, while focusing on improving the efficiency and quality of the e-invoice exchange process.
