- KSeF 2.0 Launch Update: Poland’s Ministry of Finance has announced that from December 10, 2025, the Module for Certificates and Permissions (MCU) will enable businesses to generate authentication tokens for the KSeF 2.0 Production environment, ahead of the mandatory implementation on February 1, 2026.
- Technical Requirements and Limitations: Taxpayers must authenticate using a Trusted Profile, qualified electronic signature, or qualified seal to generate KSeF 2.0-compatible tokens. It’s important to note that tokens from the previous KSeF 1.0 schema will not be compatible with KSeF 2.0 and will not be migrated.
- Strategic Recommendations: Organizations are advised to generate new production tokens immediately to avoid potential bottlenecks as the deadline approaches. Many are opting for integration partners like Comarch EDI, which is already aligned with KSeF 2.0 standards, to ensure seamless compliance and integration with the Ministry’s platform before the February 1 deadline.
