ViDA Package – Key Elements

The ViDA package comprises three legislative pillars:

  • Digital Reporting Requirements (DRR):
    • Mandatory e-invoicing for cross-border B2B transactions from 1 July 2030
    • Aims to reduce VAT fraud by up to €11 billion annually

  • Platform Economy:
    • Platforms in short-term accommodation and passenger transport must collect and remit VAT when users don’t
