Tax authorities’ Self-assessment tool to help businesses understand their obligations

  • Starting September 1, 2026, all businesses in France must be able to receive electronic invoices; issuing and reporting obligations will follow based on company size and VAT regime.

  • Businesses will need to choose a platform, issue invoices in structured format, and transmit transaction and payment data electronically to the tax administration.
