- OpenPeppol released EU PINT Billing v1.0.0 for billing outside the EU. It is optional and does not replace Peppol BIS3 Billing. PINT allows EU companies to bill in countries with their own PINT specialisations. It is a Core Invoice Usage Specification of the European e-invoicing standard. BIS3 remains mandatory in the EU but PINT supports global interoperability.
